A corrupt Costa Rican official who beats up Justin Timberlake in Runner Runner also staring Ben Affleck, directed by Brad Furman.

The sly cartel killer Felix Santos in the Get The Money.

The dangerous and violent mob boss who goes against Jason Stathem in the crime thriller hit Crank.

Street wise LA Det. Victor Martinez in The Take along with John Leguizamo, Tyrese Gibson and Rosie Perez. He takes a stellar turn as the dandy mob boss Manuel Garza in the roaring comedy Beer for My Horses starring Toby Keith, Rodney Carrington and Willie Nelson.

Detention staring alongside Penelope Ann Miller again as cop, this time fighting against LA gangs. He can also be seen taking another comedic bent in the comedy Dishdogz.

He has worked with such notable film directors as Ron Howard, Andrew Davis and Alan Rudolf.

 

His numerous television projects include: ABC’s Nototious, CBS's hit Scorpion, recurring NCIS Los Angeles, Bones, Freeform's recurring The Fosters, Comedy Central’s Review with Forrest McNeil,  Intelligence, The Mentalist, Emily Owens MD, Burn Notice, CSI Miami, Cold Case, Numbers, The Cleaner, Terminator Sarah Conner, The Shield playing Det. Carlos Zamora who goes head to head with Vic Mackey played by Michael Chiklis, Criminal Minds, 24, Close to Home, Las Vegas, and as recurring undercover cop Det. Ray Olivo on NYPD Blue.

 

Two seasons on the NBC daytime drama Another World where he played the handsome, womanizing, mysterious and slightly dangerous Dr. Victor Rodriguez.

 

An award nominated theater artist he has worked around the world including the Arena Stage, Washington DC, in the two person play about Georgia O’Keefe and her companion; Goodman Theater, Chicago working with fantastic artists Joanne Akalitis and Don Cheadle; South Coast Rep, Los Angeles with Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Nelo Cruz; Royal Shakespeare Company, London, Thalia Theater, Hamburg and Bobigny MC93, Paris with Peters Sellers directing The Merchant of Venice alongside the late, great Philip Seymour Hoffman; The Rubicon Theatre, Ventura California, as Starbuck in The Rainmaker opposite Stephanie Zimbalist, San Diego Rep, Labyrinth Theater Co., NYC, The Organic Theater Co., Chicago as a company member and at Latino Chicago Theater Company where he was an artistic associate.

 

He is also a writer, director and an accomplished photographer. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he studied Mathematics and Philosophy.
